if its not hereditary, maybe look into your diet...fish and almonds (any nut, reallly) will give strength to your hair and nails. if your not having a balanced diet, hair does fall out - so keep your iron and zinc levels up (meat, mushrooms etc) otherwise oxygen is then cut off from going to these hair cells, causing it to fall out.

sure thing...add 1 tablespoon of powder gelatin to your shampoo ( knox gelatin works great) it makes the hair appear thicker/fuller and shampoo as you normally would
