Has anyone noticed that using natural shampoos (those lacking sodium laurel sulfate and parabens) make more hair than usual fall out? I have fine, somewhat thin hair and I decided to try switching to natural shampoos to make it stronger...although I've noticed that anytime I use a shampoo claiming to be natural, a bunch of hair falls out in the shower and in my hair brush. Has anyone else noticed this, or does anyone know what this would be the case? (Some of the natural shampoo I've tried specifically says ';for thin or thinning hair';, so I really don't think it makes sense.) Thanks!Do natural shampoos contribute to hair loss?
I doubt it.

Does any1 have any remedies for male hair loss? besides wigs, sprays, shampoos, surgery. ex i heard folic acid
Deal with it... Hair loss is natural... You could just shave it off and wax your head, then you would have nothing to worry about it.Does any1 have any remedies for male hair loss? besides wigs, sprays, shampoos, surgery. ex i heard folic acid
There's only two male hair loss drugs clinically tested and FDA approved : Minoxidil (Rogaine and other brands) and Finasteride (Proscar, Propecia, etc.), there are some interesting drugs too like Dutasteride or Follica but there aren't enough studies yet.
If you're into natural stuff, the only one that might be helpful is Saw Palmeto (there are capsules for sale in natural shops) because it contains anti androgens similar to the ones found on Propecia.
Minoxidil if you buy generic brands it's quite cheap and Proscar if you get the generic version it's reasonably cheap and will last you a long time.
Quite frankly all the other stuff are either placebos or scams.

You can try the following essential oils for massage to reduce hair loss. Grapefruit, Jojoba oil, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
I do not know if things claiming to cause hair growth work. But a good hair cut that suits you can really make a difference. Say no to comb overs.

Will shampooing your hair daily aid hair loss?
Hmm. That's not something I have heard before, but I don't have any evidence to back it up either.
I know that some magazines suggest not shampooing hair every day, but I've read in a least a couple that thin hair is an exception because it tends to get dirtier quicker. My family has rather thin hair, and I know that I generally have to shampoo every day because I get such a build up. Most of my family does too. But my dad, who is 46 now, still has all of his hair despite this (you can tell that it is beginning to thin on top, but he hasn't lost any of it). So I highly doubt that this is the case.
I think the main reason for not shampooing if you have thicker hair is because if you shampoo too often then you drain your hair of it's necessary oils. In order to deal with that then, your hair makes even more oil. I suppose it might make your hair less manageable as well (if it's drained of things it needs, it's probably not going to be so awesome), but that doesn't mean it will fall out.
I hope that might help a little bit. Will shampooing your hair daily aid hair loss?
yes it may cause hair lose or hair dryness allah give natural proteins that should not be wash daily with shampoo asalamu aleikum brothers may god be with you

Do you want to lose more hair or stop losing hair? The question wasn't very clear on that...
That aside, I have never heard of normal, daily shampooing being a cause of hair loss or a prevention of hair loss.

Does constant shampooing cause hair loss?
shampooing once a day is best cause it removes dht from the scalp,
I will hereby talk from my personal experience, I suffered a lot due to hair loss.
I started suffering from hair loss some years ago and tried everything.... and then i stumped upon a drug called procerin.... it works miracles!!!
I found an informational site, however this site does not sell the drug itself so you will have to go to the pharmacy for that or consult a doctor... this website is informational only -%26gt; http://medical-one.atspace.com/procerin.鈥?/a>
If this helps please remember me in your voting ;)Does constant shampooing cause hair loss?
Constant meaning everyday? It may do so, if very harsh shampoos are used. Otherwise it shouldn't cause hair loss.Does constant shampooing cause hair loss?
have a head massage:

yes
constant shampooing strips the hair of its natural oils and things that make it healthy. In the long run it will lose all the moisture your hair needs to grow. If you have been doing this then the best thing to do is to stop now and talk to a professional hair dresser about your condition and what you can do.
I doubt it. I wash my hair everyday, and its all there. I have thick thick hair... you lose about 100-200 hairs a day, but they are replaced by new ones.
well i think it depends.
if u abuse using shampoo
then it can be an outcome of ur
doings.
so be very careful.

Will shampooing the hair result in hair loss ?
Well, over time, life results in hair loss.
Seriously, just use common sense in what you do to your head and what you put on it. If you use mild shampoos and gentle technique, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Also bear in mind that some hair loss is normal. Hair goes through life cycles, and the body expects to have some of it fall out (or get pulled out) through normal daily wear and tear. New hairs will start growng to replace the lost ones if you're young and healthy.
Try to minimize the use of harsh chemicals. It's your skin, and the hair is made by cells in your skin. It's pretty rugged, but can get inflamed or otherwise damaged by certain chemicals.
But then again, most people use really nasty chemical shampoos all their lives and many of them have hair that is just fine. I think heredity and hormones are really more of a cause of hair loss than products we put on it.
For me, I don't put anything on or in my body that has ingredients I can't pronounce. Will shampooing the hair result in hair loss ?
Only if your hair is already loose and beginning to come out.
